Thanks to the generosity of the Cuyahoga Falls community and members of Bethany UCC, the church reports that it was able to fulfill its commitment again in September to send $5,100.00 to Stradch Church (the church Greek Catholic Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary) in Stradch, Ukraine. This money is used by the church to feed Ukrainian war refugees who fled destruction in eastern and southern Ukraine and who live at the church. Added to the $5,100 sent in August, $1,500 sent in July and $1,200 sent in June, the total donation of $12,900 provided 12,900 meals for those fleeing trauma and violence.
