“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee ”(Isaiah 60: 1). As we step out of the celebration of the Good News of Christmas, let us remember that He Who came as the Light of the world leads us into the New Year as Savior and Lord. This Sunday we celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion. Brevard First UMC is a welcoming congregation with a heart for missions and service. We are located on Broad Street across from Brevard College and are now back in person with three Sunday morning worship services: 8:30 a.m. and 10:55 a.m. (traditional) in the church sanctuary, and 9 a.m. (celebration and praise) in the stock exchange room. Additionally, you can watch the 10:55 am service broadcast live on Facebook at www.facebook.com/BrevardFirstUnitedMethodistChurch, or you can listen to it on WSQL Radio (104 FM & 1240 AM). We invite you to join us as we worship our great God in prayer, Word and sacred song. Everyone is welcome. We ask people to continue to wear masks in the spirit of loving themselves.
