Daniel Craig shares some clear advice for the next James Bond
Daniel Craig did nothing when asked to share some tips for the next James Bond.
“There are a few things I would say, but I mean, one is not to be crap,” Craig told actor Kevin Hart on his SiriusXM show “Straight From the Hart” Thursday.
“I would say you have to grab it and make it your own.” I think that’s the way to go, ”continued Craig, whose last appearance as a fictional British spy is in the all-new“ No Time To Die ”.
“I mean, I committed as much as possible and tried to elevate him as much as possible,” he added. “I hope I left it in the right place and I hope the next person can fly it.”
Craig brushed off a question about who might succeed him in the role, however.
Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Regé-Jean Page, Henry Golding and Henry Cavill were all approached to take over. Rumors of a Bond woman were refuted by Bond franchise executive producer Barbara Broccoli.
“Kevin, Kevin, Kevin it’s not my problem,” Craig told Hart. “I’ve had enough on my plate without having to understand it. It’s a brain pain. I don’t need that.
“Whoever it is, you know what, they will find someone brilliant and that will be great,” he added. “And I’ll be in the foreground. I’ll be in the front seat of a movie theater with my popcorn and a drink because I can’t wait.
